The Sadsbury Township Board of Supervisors held a special meeting on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 commencing at 7 PM. Chairman, Mr. Reynolds called the meeting to order. Present was Supervisor Mr. Moore. Supervisor Mr. Reynolds could not be reached by telephone, and members of the community.
A moment of silence and Pledge of Allegiance was observed.
Mr. Reynolds stated the purpose of this special meeting is to approve the Township Police Contract and the Sadsbury Township Police Chief Contract.
Mr. Reynolds made a motion, seconded by Mr. Moore, to approve the bargaining contract between Sadsbury and the Police Association for a 4-year contract. With there being no questions from the public, the Board voting “aye”, the motion passed.
Mr. Reynolds made a motion, seconded by Mr. Moore, to approve the Sadsbury Police Chief Contract for Michael Hawley for a 2-year contract. With there being no questions from the public, the Board voting “aye”, the motion passed.
Mr. Reynolds made a motion, seconded by Mr. Moore, to approve a $2,000 payment to have the asbestos removed from the Township garage shed. With there being no questions from the public, the Board voting “aye”, the motion passed unanimously.
With there being no further business, Mr. Reynolds made a motion, seconded by Mr. Moore to adjourn the meeting. With there being no questions from the public, the Board voting “aye”, the motion passed.
