Chester County Airport Information

The Chester County Airport (also known as G.O. Carlson) is a public airport located two miles west of Coatesville, PA.  The airport opened in 1928 as Coatesville Airport and was owned and operated by the City of Coatesville until 1959 when it was purchased by Chester County and the Chester County Area Airport Authority was formed.

The airport is designated as a class C-II reliever airport, covering 250 acres with one runway and its FAA location identifier is “MQS.”
