Chapter 59 of the Sadsbury Township Ordinances sets the guideline for children/minors to be in public areas and/or establishments.
It is important to understand the guidelines set out for the conduct and safety of the children in Sadsbury Township.
Curfew Hours for “young minors” (Under the age of sixteen [16])
9:15 PM on school nights
10:15 PM on non-school nights
Curfew hours for “mature minors” (Between the ages of sixteen [16] and eighteen [18])
11:00 PM on school nights
12:00 AM on non-school nights
Section 59-2 outlines Prohibited Conduct.
The following summarizes the acts deemed as violations of this chapter:
- It shall be unlawful for any minor to be or remain in or upon the roads, parks, public places, or public ways or in/upon any privately owned place of business carried on for profit or in a place of amusement or entertainment to which the public is invited within Sadsbury Township during curfew hours.
- It shall be unlawful for any parent to permit any minor…to violate the provisions of Subsection A.
- It shall be unlawful for any proprietor to permit within his establishment any minor…to violate the provisions of Subsection A.
