Food prepared by members of The Sadsburyville Fire Company for purchase on site, and all food sale proceeds will benefit the Sadsburyville Fire Company.
John Hay Cigars will be on joining this year with their distinctive, locally made cigars!
The Sadsburyville Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting a fundraiser in the parking lot at the winery in Sadsburyville on Saturday, June 21 from 10am until 6pm (or whenever the food runs out). Barbecued chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and sides will be available for purchase as will Amish baked goods. All proceeds from food sales will benefit the Sadsburyville Volunteer Fire Company. As an added bonus, all adults 21 and older who purchase $10 or more worth of food from the Fire Company will receive a voucher for $1 off a wine tasting or a bottle of wine (valid June 21 only) and Black Walnut will donate the value of those discounts provided to the Sadsburyville Volunteer Fire Company.
That introduction led to an interview with Chief Raymond Stackhouse and subsequent attendance at training session to observe and interview other department members.

Pennsy Supply of Annville, Pennsylvania was awarded the contract by the Board of Supervisors on September 3, 2013 at their regular monthly business meeting.
Compass Road will be closed to all but local (resident) traffic from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday for the duration of the project.
Pennsy Supply has advised that it is their intent to have the project completed by October 31, 2013 – again, weather permitting. Compass Road residents have been notified by the contractor and the CASD, fire companies, and police department have been advised as well. The Keystone Valley Fire Department is holding a Community Breakfast, hosted by the Parkesburg VFW, on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The breakfast is being provided by the Parkesburg Word of Faith Church and all proceeds from the collected donations will benefit the Keystone Valley Fire Department!

This event will take place at Black Walnut Winery in Sadsburyville on Saturday, September 28th from 7 PM to 11 PM. Tickets are $25 (adults 21 and over only) – Admission includes the bonfire, a glass of wine, live music by Holt 45, ECHO, & Tim Williams, and a food ticket.
Food prepared by members of The Sadsburyville Fire Company will be available for purchase on site, and all food sale proceeds will benefit the Sadsburyville Fire Company.
Bring a blanket or a lawn chair AND YOUR OWN WINE GLASS (or you can purchase one of ours) for this outdoor event. No other alcohol allowed on site. We will be checking coolers and bags at the gate.

The Sadsbury Fire Company has announced that it will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday, June 22, 2013 hosted by Black Walnut Winery. The event will run from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (or until the food runs out).
Barbecue chicken, sides, and Amish baked goods will be available for sale with all proceeds from the fundraiser benefiting the Sadsburyville Fire Company.
The fire company will have fire trucks on display. There will be live music, great barbecue chicken, and of course a little wine! Come and visit the beautiful Black Walnut Winery and help support the Sadsburyville Fire Company. The Black Walnut Winery is located in Sadsbury Township on West Lincoln Hwy at Octorara Road.
On April 15, 2013, the Keystone Regional Fire District was recognized with the Governor’s Award for its intergovernmental cooperation that resulted in the consolidation of the three fire companies now known as the Keystone Valley Fire Department.
