Planning Commission

Overview

The Planning Commission reviews subdivision and land development applications, elicits testimony from the applicants appearing at the meetings and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding plan approval. In addition, the duties of the Planning Commission include periodically updating the Township Comprehensive Plan, Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development ordinances, which are submitted to the Board of Supervisors in the form of recommendations, and other such activities the Board of Supervisors may request of the Planning Commission pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.

Regular Meeting

The Planning Commission meets at 7:00 PM on the Wednesday of the week following a Board of Supervisors meeting (usually the 2nd Wednesday of the month). Applicants seeking to appear before the Planning Commission should make their request to the Township and provide all necessary documentation by close of business on the Friday of the week preceding the meeting. Applicants unable to make their scheduled appointment should inform the Township as soon as possible.

Meetings scheduled in 2024 are: January 10, February 14, March 13, April 10, May 15, June 12, July 10, August 14, September 11, October 9, November 13, December 11
