January 25, 2016: Keystone Valley Regional Fire District (KVRFD) is seeking the services of a qualified Vendor to provide a study of current emergency service delivery and deployment, as well as strategic planning options for 5, 10 and 15 year goals and objectives.

Interested firms can obtain request for proposal documents; including RFP cover letter, RFP technical and contractual specifications, and Scope of Work, beginning Monday January 25, 2016.

September 28, 2013:  Sadsburyville Fire Company and Black Walnut Winery partner for an evening of “Fire and Wine” on Saturday, September 28th from 7:00 PM  to 11:00 PM.  Tickets are $25 (adults 21 and over only) – your admission includes a bonfire, a glass of wine, live music by Holt 45, ECHO & Tim Williams and a food ticket.  Food prepared by members of The Sadsburyville Fire Company will be available for purchase on site, and all food sale proceeds will benefit the Sadsburyville Fire Company.  Bring a blanket or a lawn chair AND YOUR OWN WINE GLASS (or you can purchase one) for this outdoor event.  No other alcohol allowed on site.  All coolers and bags will be checked at the gate.  Call 610-857-5566 to purchase your tickets now and reserve your spot!

September 21, 2013:  The Keystone Valley Fire Department is holding a Community Breakfast, hosted by the Parkesburg VFW, on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  The breakfast is being provided by the Parkesburg Word of Faith Church and all proceeds from the collected donations will benefit the Keystone Valley Fire Department!  The Parkesburg VFW is located at 406 Fourth Avenue in Parkesburg.

May 31, 2013:  The Black Walnut Winery is hosting a fundraiser to support the Sadsburyville Fire Company on June 22nd from 11am to 6pm or until the food runs out.  Barbecue Chicken and sides and Amish baked goods will be available for sale with all proceeds from fundraiser will benefit the Sadsburyville Fire Company.

The fire company will have fire trucks on display. There will be live music and great barbecue chicken.  Come and visit the beautiful Black Walnut Winery and help support the Sadsburyville Fire Company. The Black Walnut Winery is located in Sadsbury Township on West Lincoln Hwy at Octorara Rd.

April 21, 2013:  On Sunday, April 21, 2013 at approx. 7AM, the Sadsburyville Fire Company will be escorting a returning Marine home to Sadsbury Township in Chester County.  The Sadsburyville Fire Company will have several emergency vehicles staging on the west bound Rt. 30 bypass west of Rt. 100 in West Whiteland Township.

The fire company vehicles will be staging on the bypass until the family returns to the area from the Philadelphia airport.  At that time, the fire company will be departing and escorting the family down the bypass from Rt. 100 to Airport Rd.

The Sadsburyville Fire Company will be assisted in this event by the Sadsbury Township and Valley Township Police Departments, as well as the Coatesville City Fire Dept., Keystone Valley Fire Dept., and Westwood Fire Dept.

March 19, 2013:  The Keystone Valley Fire Department was placed into service as Chester County Station #8 at 1000 Hrs this morning. This marks a huge milestone for all the members as years of hard work, paperwork and countless meetings and studies, have culminated to the end result that all were seeking.
